I toured the Residence at Great Woods on 5/11. What a lovely facility ! It was flooded with natural light which made it cheery and easy to navigate. Each room felt warm and inviting . There seems to be endless opportunities for activities , to gather and socialize, or to find a quiet corner to read or visit with family and friends . Staff was very friendly and engaged with the residents. A relief to know that this place exists as an option on our family’s list when the time comes.

The CNA’s took very good care of my 91-year old mother. The Activities people were so much fun! There was a different activity for my mother throughout each day. She was never bored. The food is fantastic! A full meal 3 times a day including salad and dessert, plus a snack late afternoon. The place is very clean and they have a diffuser with a pine scent which is very calming. A heartfelt and heavy *Thank you!* to all the wonderful staff at The Residence at Great Woods. I wanted to find a place for my mom to enjoy her remaining years, but also had good people who truly cared, coupled with making the best possible decisions for someone who couldn't do that herself. Bringing my mom here was this and more. They gave her something to look forward to every day. Her nurses and staff became her family and she was content. I am a professional musician and I play piano and sing for the residents at The Residence At Great Woods. They have a large, comfortable area with chairs and couches where people gather to listen to the music. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to the residents, making sure everyone has a place to sit, and serving refreshments after the concert. Residence at Great Woods is wonderful place for your loved one.. our mom was very well taken care of by entire staff in Reflections. The staff became family to us. There were many daily activities. The outdoor patio was fabulous for visits and gardening.
