This was our second ride on the Skunk Train, first one was 6 years ago prior to the rock slide at Tunnel 1 (ride was 21 miles to Northspur). Such beauty, and such fun! Rode in the open car both ways, different views, equally majestic. Highly recommended this historical journey.

It was an enjoyable ride. Conductor was very informative about historical events. Staff was friendly and the open car was nice. I did not like the fact that dogs were allowed on the train ride. There were 5 large dogs on our train, not all got along!

My husband and I loved the railbikes, we had a wonderful experience! Our guide was insightful and hilarious 😆 We cannot wait for the tunnel to reopen again for an extended adventure!! They mention some of these in the confirmation email but I'd thought I'd reiterate: Dress in layers as it does get cooler, althetic attire is recommended as there is a hike after the first leg of the adventure, bring water bottles, snacks, and have fun :)
