Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Beautiful day to enjoy the redwoods. At the end of the trail was able to enjoy a 1 mile hike before heading back.
The experience of going in a 100 years old train in the middle of the forest.... it’s incredible to experience how people travel back in the days...
A fun and unique outdoor activity in these Covid times. Beautiful scenery among the redwoods.
We did the rail bikes with Brendan? Brandon? He and his partner were great. They were extremely patient with our dogs and very friendly. Everyone in the ticket/gift shop were also very helpful and they gave our dog treats and a cute lil bandana. ALL AROUND GREAT TIME!!!!!
I really enjoyed the ride . People were very nice .
We took our grankids, and they had a blast. Wanted to go again.
Was a pleasurable outdoor afternoon excursion. The history was fun. Family friendly atmosphere. Places to walk and look at nature during the stop. Seats were comfortable and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Was good for a one time experience. Probably wouldn't do it again, but was worth the one time.
Such a fun day trip! Even the teenagers enjoyed it.
Tons of fun on the rail bikes yesterday!
