we went on the 6:00 pm magical Christmas Skunk Train in Willits last night and had a very fun an exciting evening. I'm so glad we decided to do this. We brought my son, daughter in law and their son (my grandson). After the excitement we experienced in all of the kids and adults on that train, we have vowed to make this an annual event. Our grandson, although only 18 months, had so much fun dancing to the Christmas Carols and playing with the kids on the train. It's simply awesome, and if you get the Train Singer aboard it's even better 🎸

It’s an exciting adventure for the whole family. For just a moment, go back in time to a place where life was much simpler & public transportation was a steam powered locomotive. The sights, sounds & smells will transport you back to that time. I highly recommend riding on The Skunk Train.

The ride from Fort Bragg is very scenic. We really enjoyed the narrative and history lesson along the ride. There are beverages and snacks available and all of the staff are really nice. We look forward to going to Willits and ride that portion of the Skunk Train. We also did enjoy the model railroad museum at Fort Bragg. That model train display has been put together with a great deal of attention to detail.

We had a fun and entertaining time on the Skunk Train from the All Aboard to the arrival back at the station. Beautiful scenery and experiencing the redwoods from a steam engine train is a real treat.
