Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Was expecting to ride the steam engine but it was apparently not running
Great time! Relaxing ride through the woods! Nice and courteous staff!

I enjoyed the scenic ride on a historic train. The price is a little steep if you are paying for several people, but, I didn't expect to get a chance to ride it and was happy that the one hour trip was available so I could squeeze it in to my plans. Next time I'm in town I hope to take one of the longer trips. I enjoyed the open air car and the beautiful trees!
It's the most peaceful memory of my life. Riding in the open observation car under a moving canopy of trees.
I enjoyed travelling through the picturesque landscape. On our ride through the picturesque landscape I had the opportunity to see a turkey eagle and learn about the history of the land. It was a very peaceful and tranquil ride. Don't forget to see the train models in the back when you disembark the train!
I just enjoyed the discounted drinks of beer and bloody mary
