A fantastic Dental office with professional staff. I've been taking my residents here for 2 years so im there basically twice a month on average.The staff are always welcoming and considerate. Wendy and Kourtnie are the residents favorites.TOP quality service.Very clean and all COVID safely precautions are taken.Highly recommended!
Dr Jacobson and his Assistants were great. I had a botched Job 3 times done to my tooth, from All Access Dentist Hyde Park!! I went to The Smilist Dental Group. From the first day they were very concerned about the PAIN I was in. I was truly scared to have them take my tooth out, only because of the bad experience I got from the other site. Was recommended to go to the smilist and let's just say , it was the worst experience I've ever had at the dentist. It feels very corporate, very puppy mill runned, and just not welcoming at all . I am loathe to return to the smilist, fishkill The floor in the exam room had something slippery on it, like a clear gel-- to someone with mobility issues, like me, that is dangerous; Jeremiah had to clean the bottom of my sneakers. Wendy, the hygienist, was abrupt, dismissive of my inability to floss as someone who only has the use of one hand, and then hurt me, repeatedly with her tools. I have had a dozen or so novocain injections over the years and about a third of them were pain free, but the injections I received from Dr Jacobson were ridiculously abrupt and painful. The absolute worst. This guy obviously doesn't care about a pain free experience. Terrible chair side manner. Go somewhere else.
We went to them. They said they would take our insurance In full! We waited for insurance approval came back. So after procedure they said we owed 595.00. We paid it. Then 2 months later they say we owe another 272.00. Wow. Dont do to these people, they say things are covered and then your getting bills. For something they said would be covered costs us 900.00 more out of our pocket. We are now digging deeper into other people they did this too. Beware, seems like a very common practice with them.
You dropped me months before my benefits even expired!! You even wanted to charge me out of pocket cash in the thousands promising to fix my prosthetic tooth and more and told me you would take care of my new implant under false pretenses and lies from the office manager. Your facility is poorly managed and the service and staff are not even remotely reliable, competent or trustworthy in my opinion. The real problem was from the office manager. People of color beware of this place. It's filled with medical racism. They kept rescheduling my wisdom teeth getting pulled for months - with the excuse that the surgeon is never there. When they finally reluctantly made me an appointment with this mysterious surgeon, they called me a week before to tell me he has left and to persuade me to pay out of pocket. Rude Staff!!!!STAY FAR AWAY. Worst dental office I have ever been too manly because of the attitudes within the office and the insurance costs issues. When I had went there the last time the dental hygienist started rating my teeth! (Wendy) made me feel super uncomfortable...
