We've been living at The Village for 6 months and I can only give the facility the highest praise in all areas. The dining room prepares 3 meals a day with many choices for 250 residents, all of high quality.

Went on a "Lunch and Learn" tour recently with my mother, who was wondering what a senior living community such as The Village at NorthRidge was all about. For what we pay per month here, The housekeepers do not speak English, really?!?!
I have nothing but positive things to say about the Village. My dad enjoyed the gym and movie theater, but most of all we loved the genuine hospitality and top notch care from the staff and management. My dad's Parkinson's and other chronic conditions were not easy to manage but they did it with passion and a gentle touch. I never got the idea that the care staff was understaffed or overworked, and they all seemed to love working at the Village. Huge thanks to the Village at NorthRidge

My Dad has been a resident at The Village at Northridge for more than 6 years. I've been impressed with each time - the staff is friendly, caring, patient, and helpful, the apartments are comfortable and well maintained, the shared spaces are lovely, the dining room offers lots of options, and the activities are varied and enjoyable. As with the rest of the world, Covid impacted everyone and everything. Do not put your parent here unless he/she is fully independent and has no health problems. The Village Northridge accidentally sent my dad to the wrong hospital when his gall bladder exploded. He has since passed away. Yes, the place is lovely to look at and has a nice fireplace with a piano, but the staff are ill trained and the managers are desperate for your cold hard cash.
All a show. My relatives have lived here for a few years and I have visited multiple times. Looks great but an ugly under belly. They will charge you up the wazoo. Once they have you and they know you have sold your house they corner you and keep charging. An absolutely appalling management team. Terrible service. I regret letting my family live here. If you care about your parents, or anyone you are thinking of trusting to the care of the Village at Northridge...... STAY AWAY! Unless, of course, your parents will NEVER need any type of assistance for the entire time they live there. This place offers NO CARE to anyone who lives in the independent section. If an "independent" resident falls they are NOT ALLOWED to help them up. Their policy is to literally leave them on the floor and call 911, and have 3 fire trucks and an ambulance come and pick up the person. The fa... read more
The African American manager was a big help at the front desk to myself and mother. She is also the dining room manager. She has a really great rapport with the residents and always has a smile on her face. This place needs more managers like her. Please keep this one and keep up the good work!
