Get directionsI am/was a resident of this facility I'm at The Village at Ocotillo. It's very good. The food is good. The caregivers are very good. There's a lot of things to do. They have a lot of events going on. They do a lot of them just every day. They have chair volleyball. There's a really good exercise program and there's a bible study. They're doing a new paint job and they're putting new carpeting in, but they haven't started that yet. The place is very nice.
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My parents moved into The Village at Ocotillo. They have friendly staff, great food, and an upscale environment. They have swimming and bingo. They have a lot of activities for them.
I visited this facility My mother-in-law will be staying at The Village at Ocotillo for respite care. The residents seemed happy and well cared for. They seem to take care of the ones that need more assistance. The facility is staffed right. The ones that didn't need extra care seemed fine. It just seemed like a happy, open facility. Upkeep and cleanliness were very good. There didn't seem to be any issues, any uncleanliness and smells. It was just really nice. The food looked excellent. Their dining area was nice, and the m... read more
I visited this facility We toured The Village at Ocotillo. First of all, Casey, the sales director, is awesome. She sent us home with free food from the dining room today. We had free breakfast. The community just suited my mom to a tee. I don't know about anyone else's mom, but my mom has lived in the Sun Lakes for maybe at least like 20 years, and this is just outside her community, and it just had that vibe. It just felt like that would be my mom's home, not just an assisted living place that she just had to have to adjus... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father moved into The Village at Ocotillo. The care is excellent. His apartment is the best of any that I have ever seen. It has a full-size kitchen, and a washer and dryer in the apartment. He loves the food. He said they're excellent.
I visited this facility The Village was a little more expensive, and they did not have a studio apartment. They had a band playing with wine and cheese out. The food was excellent. I met several of the staff who were wonderful.
I visited this facility I visited The Village at Ocotillo. They have activities that you can participate in if you wish, like Bridge groups and various in-house activities, entertainment that comes in, tours, and happy hour where you can get to know everyone. I was looking at their 2-bedroom units which have nice high ceilings, and the views from the windows are of the courtyard or the nice areas outside. It was pretty impressive. I believe they also have laundry services, which is important. It was only the price that slowe... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident If you are still pretty independent , then this place will be good for you . Labs , physical therapist, etc are available to you in the facility if needed ( outside companies) . If you need more attention or need a lot of help , then this probably won't be the best fit for you . The food is great however and music activities are nice . Bus trips are scheduled to different places which is nice .
I visited this facility The Village at Ocotillo is very nice, and the meals were gourmet. I liked it less because it didn't seem to have as much room because it seems to be crowded. But it would have been desirable, and it would have been expensive. They had a beauty parlor and a physical therapist who would help you into the pool. The place is smaller, but it would have been fine.
