We had our mother here and was fully pleased with the quality of care she received. The staff are wonderful and caring. The food offered in their restaurant was delicious when we joined her there a few times. If I had to pick somewhere to provide assisted living for my other family I would certainly go here.

Outstanding people. The staff is caring and compassionate. You won't find better people anywhere. If there is a weakness, it is in the menu selection. Very questionable. Again, the servers are outstanding. Staff cooperative

I walked in and it felt like home so I decided to call the place home over a year ago! The architecture, ambiance and interactions are excellent. The community has a very honest and respectful manner and all the staff are friendly. Living here is a comfortable and wonderful experience.
I'd like to express my respect and gratitude for the team at the Village at Ocotillo for their on-going excellence in protective and compassionate care during these alarming days of the COVID-19 pandemic. My mother and father moved into their sweet apartment in the community in 2016. My father went through hospice in their apartment, and today, my 95-year old mom continues to find comfort there, surrounded by a nice community, kind and protective care providers, and enriching social programs. Love this place!!! They have great instructors. I love Linda and Trish, and also Carly for Zumba. I'm sure there are other great instructors that I haven't yet tried. I came from Lifetime. The reason I gave the Village four stars is because of the spin program. They are all over the place. I personally was trained so as to not injure myself on the bike. These new bouncy, trendy, dance moves that would never fly on a real cycle are just too much. I want to work hard and seriously train even though I'm too chicken to ride on ... read more
I'd give them zero stars if I could. The worst management team, rude "caregivers" with crap attitudes who do not understand anything when it comes to POA or guardianship appointments. They're sneaky and only care about money. They'll act nice initially but as soon as a resident starts having any type of health issues they're inattentive and downright ignorant about everything. This facility remains the best in almost every category. We would not recommend it, if depending on the food. It's sad. Because it has deteriorated beyond acceptability. We don't know if it's a corporate mandate. Or, just poor planning for folks in our age group. If you consider fried balogna sandwiches acceptable. Please ignore this update
