There is somewhere better I have lived in there for a 1 year and a couple of months. First, I was lied to about the bulk trash going to be removed and after plenty of complaints it never was removed. Infestation of wolf spiders, centipedes and termites in which I called this in to the office and they sent an inspector out he verified the termites the office did nothing about it when I called again about it they said "I don't see anything here about termites we'll figure something out." Nothing was ever done. Maintenance does... read more
Do not move here! If I could give them no stars I would. I've hated living here since day one. When we moved in outlets didn't work, refrigerator didn't work, the lights outside didn't work, and we have this random wire coming out of our wall in the living room. We had a maintenance call to fix everything but they didn't. They fixed one outlet, the refrigerator, and replaced light bulbs but the outside lights don't work so replacing light bulbs dos nothing. The windows are extremely poorly insulated. In the summer the upstai... read more
Find somewhere else I've lived here with my girlfriend and daughter for 3 and 1/2 months now. I've had to call Maintenance at least once a week about raccoon's in the ceiling and water leaking all around the apartment when it rained, including on the furnace. I have been told traps have been set and they re-shingled the roof after we had a raccoon fall through our ceiling and almost landed on our daughter in her room. There are still raccoon's in the ceiling and the roof still leaks, btw. Their response when we asked to have... read more
Don't even consider this place! ! Horrible When I moved in on the first day there was a hole in the kitchen wall, the downstairs bathroom toilet leaked into the basement, the top of the toilet was left in the hallway closet, there was cracks in the walls in each bedroom like the walls were going cave I'm and the ceiling in the 2nd br leaked for months. After giving the property 4 months to repair it nothing has been done and I had to put my rent into an escrow account and even then they still didn't make repairs...currently ... read more
Moving here was a huge mistake I noticed that most of the reviews posted were after I moved in and I am sorry that I did. These sub basement apartments have the propensity for mold and mildew. The water holder of my coffee pot smells like basement. There is trash, cigarette butts and leaves on the stairs to my apartment and that sounds like a fire hazard since the stairs are wood. I have called and visited the leasing office several times over the course of five weeks regarding an emergency plumbing issue that still has not ... read more
Horrible. I advise anyone and everyone who is seriously considering these apartments to look elsewhere or be prepared for the worst. My apartment flooded on 3 separate occasions and I was left to clean the carpet myself. The maintenance man actually laughed when I asked if they ever planned on fixing the plumbing problems.. After moving out thinking I was on good terms with the staff because I had never made a late payment in the 13 months I called the apartment home, I was sent to collections without any prior notice of owi... read more
Good Luck The new owners New Life Properties only gives you till the 2 of the month to pay your rent. Most apartments give u until the 5th of the month. The water bill is charged along with monthly rent, could range between 40 - 50 dollars, so your rent will never be what is stated in your lease. There is a lot of ghetto hood people moving out here, black and white. There advertisement sounds good, but you quickly realize its not all that. The maintenance workers are slow, most of the time they sit around the office smoking an... read more
Worst property management, and Maintenance I moved in to the community when it was still under the old management company, and the previous name. This rental office is full of lazy "dudes" who are never helpful, including when you have to call several times for any sort of maintenance. There is a woman, who is always eating on the phone, and is rude every single time I talk to her. It took almost three weeks and 4-5 calls to get maintenance to come out for my last issue, and he came at dinner time to work in my kitchen. The ... read more
Just keeps getting worse Tenant for many years and while this was a stellar community many many years ago Plaza Properties neglected it to death. I thought their upkeep and care for the tenants was pretty bad, but the new owners have managed to lower the bar even further. It takes them months to address even big issues in the complex. For example every winter to spring huge holes open up in the road. Took them months to fill these in. Under their watch it got so bad you couldn't even drive around most of them they were so la... read more
