The Villas at Yorktown The Villas is amazing. Has awesome pool & fitness center. Alot of lighting at night. Clean and affordable. I found everything I needed in this place. I would love to call it my home.
Life at the Villas I am going into my 4th year living at the Villa and compared to the places have stayed, I have no major complaints. I live in an area that is quiet when the sun goes down. No hanging out making a lot of unnecessary noises. The grounds are neat and presentable and that makes me proud of where I live. I don't mind inviting my friends and family over. This complex is good because of the location and having a store on site. I think I would consider moving to these apartments. I especially having a store so close. I also like the location.
Do not wait for anything, call repeatedly Tried to get an apartment here, did all the necessary paper work and went through their online bit for it, I've even paid them the first months rent and first payment of the deposit after getting off the phone with them however I've been ghosted and lied to after that point, saying that I was given misinformation and that theyll get me an apartment. Its been 3 months since then and they still refuse to give me a refund for the promised apartment.
Bait and Switch I was told I was approved for a townhouse. They had me pay $250 for a lease addendum and reassured me more than 5 times - on multiples on occasions - that a townhouse would be ready for me on March 1st. I get a text today, 2 weeks before, with a typical bait and switch tactic. Informing me that they don’t have what they already approved me for and reassured me multiple times I’d have wasn’t available and wouldn’t be any time soon. I called them out on the bait and switch. Rip off Lived here a few years ago. Washer/dryer started not running the dryer. Took them months to tell me they are waiting on a part. I know a guy so I reached out to see if I could fix it myself. He tells me they don't make that part anymore because it's so old. The serial number from the manufacturer confirmed it was a 20+ year old model. When I moved out they charged me for the unit saying it was "new" and "beyond normal use"... The staff is nice as long as you don't expect them to do their jobs
Horrible Apartments First off, they don't have laundry on site. They are all closed and broken, and have been for months. Also it's 15 dollars a month pet fee not 10, I know because I have to pay that. The maintenance here is horrible. I went all winter without a heater and my AC doesn't work either. Maintenance doesn't care and neither does the office.
Bad maintenance As nice as management is. I cant get anything fixed and we are new tenants. Im basically DIY'ing my way through what needs to be fixed around here. You could put MULTIPLE work orders in and they will eventually come fix just one specifically and its usually the one least important.
How does this complex still have tenants?! From my experience, an apartment complex is only as good as the amenities it offers. The best way to check such out is just show up unannounced and check out what they have to offer by yourself, without the guided tour that only wants your money.
