My son has been living at Weir Nursing Home for 2 years now and on entering he was down and out but with the expertise of all staff our son has come on quite well. Still needs a massive amount of attention but they carry on regardless. Nothing but praise. Hope they keep up the good work.

Our son gets the very best care. The staff are very kind to our son, he needs 24-hour care and they are all wonderful. It's a pleasure to go to the home to visit our son. We always receive a wonderful welcome and our son could not be in a better home.

The Weir is a friendly, welcoming nursing home. The residents have the chance to participate in many activities. Outings are also arranged for the residents. The meals are excellent and home cooked. Nurses are always on duty to administer medical care. Resident's families are made to feel welcome and included.

Overall good care, able to visit at all times. Home cooking. Residents are always clean, tidy and well fed. Events held on a regular basis for all to join in or not. Dog visit to your own room which is good for residents. Able to have own things around you. Safe.

My uncle was admitted to the Weir in December 2016. We have nothing but praise for the levels of care given to him in the short time he has been here. The standards are excellent and he is extremely happy here. Thank you!

Excellent nursing home in a lovely location. Residents are treated as individuals and dignity observed whilst still allowing for a fun and friendly atmosphere. Staff always considerate and caring towards residents, family and visitors. There are sufficient activities for those able to take the park and a wide variety. Consistent in its approachability, Weir Nursing Home and its staff are everything you could hope for in a care home. Always cheerful and willing to help you feel confident that mum is in a warm and comforting environment. Mum is always happy when I visit and looks better than when she went into the home. Four stars at least.

Mother is looked after extremely well. Everyone is so kind. They do their best to make her life as comfortable as possible. Mother has a very good appetite and enjoys the delicious food prepared so well by the cooks at Weir Nursing Home.
