My uncle was admitted to the Weir in December 2016. We have nothing but praise for the levels of care given to him in the short time he has been here. The standards are excellent and he is extremely happy here. Thank you!

Excellent nursing home in a lovely location. Residents are treated as individuals and dignity observed whilst still allowing for a fun and friendly atmosphere. Staff always considerate and caring towards residents, family and visitors. There are sufficient activities for those able to take the park and a wide variety. Plenty of space for those who want to be on their own or with families/visitors for private visits. Meals appear very appetising and varied with plenty of choices. Consistent in its approachability, Weir Nursing Home and its staff are everything you could hope for in a care home. Always cheerful and willing to help you feel confident that mum is in a warm and comforting environment. Mum is always happy when I visit and looks better than when she went into the home. Four stars at least.

Mother is looked after extremely well. Everyone is so kind. They do their best to make her life as comfortable as possible. Mother has a very good appetite and enjoys the delicious food prepared so well by the cooks at Weir Nursing Home.
