We’ve done business with Thiele before and been very happy but our latest experience left us feeling sour. Our air conditioner was having an issue, and even though they replaced an easy part and it was blowing cold, they recommended a new system and took the part back out. We even decided to go with the new system due to the age and known intricacies, which my husband spent several hours with them formulating a quote that we accepted, to receiving a phone call that they couldn’t get us scheduled for replacement for 3 months ... read more
Your tech was a liar. I will never use your company again. He did not clean out the outside unit. Filled up the unit and said the my furnace was installed wrong and there was a Crack in the motor. I called someone else. They came out and cleaned outside unit filled it back up with cooling product and my Ac works perfectly. You ripped me off. Your company is nothing but a scam.
If I could give a zero I would! New ac unit put in on Friday 2nd floor. 2 hours after technician left a water alarm I had them put up there went off stating leak. Called and they sent out another technician who said there was a clogged line. Assured me no water detector is needed since unit will shut off automatically. Called emergency service and they won’t respond and message said all has to wait until Monday. Would not recommend this company apparently their work and service!
I will NOT use them AGAIN. They ripped me off. The young man that came to "fix" my AC unit didnt even bother to clean the outdoor side unit. .He just connected his device and gave me word salad about how something was cracked and my unit will not function etc. Found out from another AC repair person that the condenser was dirty causing the other parts of the AC to freeze and not work properly. Technician arrived on time and took care to put on boots when entering the house. Not sure what exactly he did, there was not paper work describing what was checked and the results. He didn't spend much time checking the system; so unless there is a data plug that provides all the units operational in formation to him there could not have been much checked. Our unit is only 4 years old so perhaps there is such a read out on the unit. I'm disappointed that no print out is provided explaining the checks made and the results. S... read more
Had to call you out several times to “fix” our heat, and ended up having to call another company out to get our heat working again.
Dual-zone heating and cooling. Noticed upstairs extremely warm. First service call: Needed to order parts. Second try: More parts needed. Third try: Parts installed, but no change. AC working, but not to top floor. "You're probably going to have to buy new units. Better start shopping around." Week or so later getting unbearable. Solution: Turn off first floor thermostat, used only second floor thermostat. The result: All air coming out of first floor vents. Now afraid to call again.
Service man did not explain options. Immediately tried to sell me a new air conditioner. Said on my receipt I refused the recommend dye test but he never offered it. Put 3 pounds of gas in my system and said he had no idea how Much it needed and asked if I wanted him to keep going. System worked worae after he left and I feel he let all the gas out of it. I have obviously hit the wrong g star, according to your remark. I had a wonderful experience with Thiele Heating and AC as usual. I would never consider calling anyone else. We have used Thiele for over 20 years.
