I had the sushi and ordered the chilean seabass as my main entree which was very good. the sushi was average. Service was very good and attentive.
I was extremely happy to see a steak house that you do not have to re-mortgage your house to get a good piece of steak.. Food was excellent and very good service.
My husband and i had the steak and lobster as well as california rolls. Everything was cooked perfectly. Nice atmosphere!
We have dined at Thom Thom's several times now...and have never been disappointed. I had the lamb...and have to say...that it is now my favorite.
Nice food - a bit pricey for the neighborhood and for the internal ambiance of the place. But the food is good (steaks are excellent) and it's one of the few respectable restaurants in this part of the south shore of Long Island.
The food was very good at Thom Thom and sushi excellent as always. However I had read other reviews about the service but since we had been here before I thought maybe they hit a bad night. Well they weren't wrong. Our waitress was very nice but there was a big lag between our appetizers and our entree's and at time our waitress vanished for long clips of time. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main meal. It's a little pricey and not an everyday restaurant, but worth the extra cost once in awhile. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as well.
We are lovers of sushi, steak and spice. Our meal was fantastic. We can't wait to recommend our friends and family.
Steak houses need to be great at steak and this is a great place for steak. NY Strip was perfect, Filet great and very well made. The service was fair at best. Prices are on the money. I will go back. I think they have areas of improvement but over all I would go back. My kids food was served last --not smart. We had to look for the waitress often. People who came in 10 minutes after us were served 10 minutes before us so I had to say something. BUT I am a food guy. I loved the steak!
