We ate at ThomThom during Long Island Restaurant Week when the prix fixe menu was $24.99 for three courses. Everyone at our table was very impressed with the entire experience at this local neighborhood restaurant in Wantagh. Our welcome was courteous and the waitress very helpful. They recently changed hands and I'm not sure where they are going with the menu. They are trying to duplicate the food from the previous regime but it's not quite there. The service was friendly but not very knowledgeable or consistent. It may take some time to see where this restaurant is heading.
Went on a thursday at 7pm and the restaurant was literally empty, which concerned me! But the food was amazing and so was the service. definitely recommend it,

The food and service were outstanding. We were a party of six and our needs were very well-attended.
Thom Thom never disappoints! The Sushi appetizers were delicious. I had the Miso glazed Chilean Sea Bass which was out of this world and my husband had a steak which was fantastic. Our server John was also excellent. The restaurant was very busy and he never missed a beat. Our food was timed perfectly and he continually checked back with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food, great place totally reasonable. Will definitely be back soon.
the food was excellent but the service was terrible. We asked for things many times, such as bread, water, etc and they never came. The food was brought out with out eating utensils. They definitely need more help.
This was probably our sixth visit and we had a great experience. First, there is unlimited parking across the street. Second, the bar area is one of the largest you'll find in any restaurant (also with table seating). The dining area is on the medium size with nice, current decore. We've been here several times over the past two years, because they are consistantly good overall. Menu could use a tiny bit of updating as I found the special fish for the night was the same special fish dish I had 6 months ago.(It was very good both times!) We were seated at a table for two in the center of the dining room for the first time and found this table barely big enough for the plates to fit!
