I cannot rave enough about TLC in Brookfield! Every single moment of my experience was incredible. Years ago, I had backed out of lasik because I was too nervous. Good people, good care. Procedure went quickly, they describe everything along the way. They care about their jobs and people.
Staff and doctors did an excellent job of communicating exactly what would happen during the procedure and after. The hardest part is fighting the impulse to close your eyes because there’s stuff in them! I would suggest giving yourself 2 days to recover. The first day you’ll be sleeping and the second day you may be a bit groggy or have hazy vision or “tired” eyes. (I felt like I had a slight head ache from eye strain) Would totally recommend it for those committed to follow through.
I had lasik done about a month ago with Dr. Probst and couldn't be happier! The process was so simple and I am grateful that I am able to do all my post-op visits with my primary eye doctor. All the staff was wonderful. Dr. Nelson was especially helpful and accommodating. Thank you TLC!!!
I was a glasses wearer from a very young age and then used contacts later on as well. I had heard about Lasik on the TV, radio, and social media. The staff is so friendly and explains everything in detail. So there are no surprises. The procedure and recovery was painless with no problems. I wish I would've done it sooner! Every day I'm still so grateful to have had that done. I was nervous to have it done. But once the procedure started it was fine. The whole thing really amazes me.
