The staff here are exceptionally friendly and made me feel very comfortable.
Staff and doctors did an excellent job of communicating exactly what would happen during the procedure and after. The hardest part is fighting the impulse to close your eyes because there’s stuff in them! I would suggest giving yourself 2 days to recover. The first day you’ll be sleeping and the second day you may be a bit groggy or have hazy vision or “tired” eyes. (I felt like I had a slight head ache from eye strain) Would totally recommend it for those committed to follow through.
Great and friendly staff. Well organized and the staff explains the procedures very well.
The process has been frustrating. They give you everything but it’s complicated and rushed. No one told me about alllll the drops and goggles needed for afterwards. I asked about complications and it was glossed over without a thought. But then in the sign offs page it’s ridiculous at how much they disclose then. Just be honest when I originally asked. I have wanted lasik for a long time but was always too afraid. Working in healthcare, constantly having to wear a mask, eye protection and a faceshield, the glasses would never stop fogging. After a few recommendations, I decided to get a consultation at TLC. They made the process so simple. Before landing on TLC, I was doing the lasik tour, checking out other facilities and seeing what was out there. When I got to TLC, I knew that was the place was it for me.
