Todd was there for me every single step of the way. Every document, note, mention of anything I needed to be aware of, he picked up his phone and called me. If I had questions, he was there. Having a face, a person that you can talk to vs computers just coming back with rates made the whole process feel more doable. I would not have felt as comfortable as I did going into closing had it not been for Todd.
My husband and I are both active duty and our children are 3 and 5, so needless to say time is not something we have a lot of. Right off the bat I knew Todd was the man for the job as he responded to calls and texts promptly(esp texts because let’s face it, even taking on the phone is chore while wrestling children into car seats). Todd McDonald has been nothing less than amazing during our home buying process. From beginning to end he has been reassuring and encouraging. Todd is special among lenders. He cares and makes the effort to get you pre-approved, not just pre-qualified. What's the difference? A lender who gives you a pre-qual letter, has not taken the time to actually verify your income statements, tax returns, other income, and your current debts. All of these things will have to be looked at by underwriting before your loan will actually be approved. Todd was recommended by our realtor. I called him right after my wife and I started looking at houses. He did are the preliminary work quickly. Once we found our perfect home, Todd made it even easier. He had all the documentation ready way before closing, so that we had time to thoroughly review everything. He was also timely on getting back to me with any questions, and made the whole experience simple and stress free!
