A week before closing we learned that simple items needed for underwriting hadn't been sent in a timely manner. We were in danger of missing the TRID deadline which would have jeopardized our escrow money. The loan documents weren't sent to the title company until 45 minutes before we were scheduled to sign. At which point we discovered that the lender missed an addendum that meant the loan had to go back to underwriting. It shouldn't be the customers job to push for everything to be done.
