Lovely as always. Our favorite restaurant in NY. Period.
On our previos stay in NYC late March 22, after visiting Central Park we came upon this restaurant for a bite. The Maitre d, Jeff, greeted us cordially and seated us near a window with a street view. Victor, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, so much in fact, we returned the next evening for a complete dinner. Fast forward three weeks. I made a reservation for an early dinner before an event my daughter and I were attending on Easter Sunday. A table by the window wasn’t cleared, so I was seated at another table which was less than desirable. when I asked to be moved to the table by the window, we were instead moved to the bar. There were multiple tables available throughout the restaurant, yet we ended up at a table in the bar next to the stairs going down to the bathroom.
