Even with all the Italian restaurants in NYC, when we visit we keep coming back here. The staff is terrific, the food is terrific, the wine list not outrageous. For meat lovers, the Veal Milanese is fantastic; the pastas are homemade; and for veggie lovers, there is a really nice option to choose either 3 or 5 veggies, all decent antipasti portions, from a list of imaginative preparations of all sorts, as an entree (obviously, they can also be veggie sides for the table). We had a good time.
An amazing restaurant that we will be back again and again ! The food and service was exceptional. We celebrated our anniversary and were greeted with two glasses of prosecco on the house!
So great to be back here after two years away! Fried artichokes superb as always. Too much dressing on the Little Gem Caesar salad. Bronzino and veal piccata excellent. Limoncello pie divine. Dining early Sunday evening after Alvin Ailey performance, so not as busy as usual which means the noise level was comfortable.
As usual a great experience. Youssef welcomed us in a very friendly way and secured a table on a great spot. We enjoyed the veal parmigiana and ravioli with burrata cheese and was delighted with the very famous cannolis. Great and lovely experience. Highly recommend it.
