Wonderful service and excellent food! We will definitely return next time we are in town. They even adjusted some menu items for youngsters in our group and went above and beyond with everything!
One of the BEST Italian restaurants in NYC. Often overlooked by reviewers because its been around so long. BUT you can't beat the food ( kind of like mama used to make if you're Italian ), the antipasti bar is extraordinary and always delicious with lots of super fresh choices, the service is friendly and excellent while never being overbearing, and the ambiance just makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Service seemed rushed, like they were trying to get us out as soon as possible
My only complaint is one I have with most restaurants the waiters should never remove a plate from the table till everyone is finished eating. This happens everywhere including yesterday . That said the food and service were terrific.
It was a Sunday for brunch we were the only ones in the restaurant maybe one other group and the service was less than stellar. the food we had a frittata that was dry and tasteless really disappointed. I’ve been to this restaurant many times and had parties here and I was totally disappointed with everything. I will try again but hopefully they’ll be on point.
