Very high energy busy place, not a quiet romantic place but it is a fun place. Food was very good. I had the spaghetti cacciatore e pepe and can’t wait to return and have it again.
I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and celebrated every occasion here with family and friends. I denoted we were celebrating a birthday and they didn’t do anything special. They always do- even when there isn’t something to celebrate. Feels like it’s lost a magic quality.

One of my favorite quintessential New York Italian restaurants. Love the appetizer's out on display, great atmosphere and fun staff. Had a party of 9 this time and everyone was very pleased. Sorry to say but I can't get passed the Pepperoni Chicken Parmesan!

Outstanding little spot to have a great meal in the city. Go early and sit at the bar! The Bartenders are great and the app offerings are amazing. Absolutely recommend this establishment.

My wife and I ate at Trattoria Dell'Arte this past Saturday before seeing a play. The service was terrific and the food even better. Very traditional Italian items done well. The restaurant is very busy (good for them)and a little loud but overall we liked the ambiance and the wine!
Trattoria Dell’Arte is my family‘s favorite restaurant in all of New York City. We have tried other places, and my kids joke that there are thousands of other restaurants besides Trattoria in Manhattan. But we have tried them and none can compare to this little restaurant with the dark green awning and the big heart across from Carnegie Hall.
