I always enjoy Trattoria Dell'Arte before Carnegie Hall concerts. I'm not usually the one who makes the reservation. This time I did. I specifically asked to be in the back room (back left) because noise and crowding can be an issue. Unfortunately, we were seated in one of the booths in front of the door. Very noisy, very cold, very crowded with people coming in. It's still a great pre-Carnegie choice. This particular evening was not so great. Location, location, location.
Excellent with outstanding service. Isabella was outstanding.
We went for dinner - we had chicken piccata milanese style (which was huge) and i didn't realize fried. My husband had bolognese - which was very good. Nice atmosphere, but noisy- if Carnegie Hall has something going on it's very busy before. The chocolate mousse was one of the best i have ever had!
I have had dinner at Trattoria many many times and they never disappoint. The chicken parma is terrific and the seafood risotto is done perfectly. The branzino is done very well. All the dishes we had were cooked very well and the desserts did not disappoint.
We loved the place. Very good job. Tastes amazing...
Got there at 11 They were out of most of vegetarian options from vegetable platter section
Crowded on small table in back. Very noisy and expensive. There are better Italian restaurants in nyc for the cost of this meal. Good service but not a place I will rush to go back to. I felt if you were a regular you were given preferential seating.
Awesome food and atmosphere. Get the Veal Parm.
Delicious Food and Delicious Service. Excellent wine selection. Pizza Margherita - hands down the best pizza in New York (possibly the country). The Branzino outstanding. Seafood Risotto simply delicious. A truly special restaurant.
