Had to wait a while for service as the waiter was getting a “prescription” written by another customer. Odd but whatever we were not in a rush. Ordered the meatballs, first order came out cold, second order came out nice and hot and have to say they were amazing, by far the best part of the meal. We have been here before with larger groups but this evening as a couple we were a little disappointed. Location of our table was less than optimal but we felt with it. Food was not very hot when it came out. Server was super busy which may have impacted the experience. Overall ok
Great choice near City Center and Carnegie Hall, and great for vegetarians. Pricey but worth it.

Sat in a booth on first level. This used to be our favorite spot in NYC but hadn’t been since pre-Covid so we’re a bit concerned after reading some of the recent disappointing reviews but our experience tonight was fantastic all around. Wonderful and attentive service. Anti pasta bar to start was great. Had the chicken Parmesan, friends had the Dover Sole and Branzino and thought all were excellent.
This is the very best place to eat before or after a concert at Carnegie Hall or City Center. Great food, friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Wonderful pizza and the veg appetizer selections always delight. SLOW service -- not enough staff even on a Thursday night. Wine is OVERPRICED!! $36 for a glass of Sanserre? REALLY?
