This has always been for us a popular destination for dinner before a concert at Carnegie Hall because of its combination of location, quality of food, acceptably diverse menu of Italian cuisine, and friendly, attentive staff. The ambience is pleasant, but the restaurant is quite popular, therefore, crowded and very noisy, but so are most restaurants.

Great preconcert meal. Excellent food and drinks. Loved the art work. Our server very friendly but a little slow, seemed distracted. A very nice plus, a member of our party left something and they called us from the reservation phone number so we could retrieve. A+ customer service!

Excellent service and menu options. Pasta and meatballs were very good, but I did not care for the dirty martini I ordered.
