We went on a recommendation. Wasn't impressed with server...arrogant. we were sat next to the kitchen so it was very distracting. Good but for what we paid, not great. Oh! Let's not forget the bone in the chicken parm that the waiter tried to tell is was normal.

This is a hidden gem among the almost 100 midtown Italian themed eateries that are opened for lunch. The food is consistently excellent with several new seasonal specialties every day. The chicken cutlet parmigiana is the best I have ever had. The salads always super fresh and well dressed. The pastas and pizzas are perfectly cooked and delicious.

This is a classic restaurant that's been around for decades -- but they have not forgotten that welcoming their customers and making them feel special is an important aspect of the hospitality industry. We are not regulars at all, but when Jeff the Maitre D' learned that it was our 25th anniversary, he took the time to get and present us with flutes of Prosecco before seating us in the quieter, upstairs area. That set the tone for our whole evening and everything was simply delightful!

We were there the night before the NYC marathon, so it was so busy! Still, we had the best service!! Our server Nelson was so kind & friendly, Victor who was bartending & running the marathon the next day took the time to come to our table and take a photo with his sign. The food came so quickly and it was absolutely delicious - we all raved about how tasty it was. The ambience was great, and kept its charm even amongst the busyness of the night. We had a wonderful experience and would come back for sure!!

Had dinner before a show at Carnegie Hall. Restaurant is beautiful, food was delicious, service was great. Got us in & out in time for our show! Not inexpensive but a nice treat. My friend & I shared the spaghetti & meatballs and pappardelle with lobster and both were yummy 😋. Didn’t have time for dessert but next time!

Excellent food and service! It’s a bit loud in the restaurant, but hey, that’s New York. Everything else was fantastic.
