Food was excellent. We were accidentally served two appetizers of mozzarella & tomato and fried artichokes (outstanding) which they let us keep. We shared them with the table next to us. We were sitting outside as it was an unseasonably warm night for April in NY. We had the Veal Scaloppine and the Braised Short Rib. The Veal was good but the Short rib was excellent! Desert was great and the Pinot Grigio was nice and crisp. Service was very attentive.
There are places that never disappoint and this is certainly one of them, always greeted like family and the food is always as good as we recommend to our guests. Dinner for 7 with two colleagues from Italy, we told them it would be a great experience and we were not let down. I always recommend the pizza and artichoke appetizers and the 101 layer lasagna. They had a large group event both downstairs and upstairs which made the noise level loud and service quality mediocre.

Always a warm welcome and attentive service. Food is prepared with love and menu is varied for every palate. Atmosphere is high energy but conducive to conversation! Our good-to place conveniently located near symphony, ballet, theatre.
