As always, great food, great service. After all these years, it remains one of the best restaurants in the midtown area
The last time we were at this restaurant the food was almost inedible, as I reviewed previously. This time was a delight. All four main dishes were delicious, beautifully prepared, well served, and totally enjoyed if rather expensive. Special note: the scallops over spaghetti squash was perfect.
We arrived a bit late but were warmly greeted with a 'it's no problem' relax, have a glass of wine' (which was complimentary!) Wonderful and very friendly service. Waiter was superb, reassured us we would be out in time for the theatre. Came over a couple of times for a chat. Food was delicious - mum had calves liver and I had veal - superb! Very buzzy atmosphere and cosy surroundings. Would highly recommend.

Best experience. Went for my wife's Birthday and they really treated us well. A lot of fun and excellent time from the moment we stepped in the door. Of course the food is excellent as well.
What a great find! This restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge and are we ever glad. We are in our 60s and we were taking our young niece and friend (NYC locals) to dinner. Everyone agreed that the food, service and ambiance were fabulous. Would definitely return.
We were treated royally, with great dignity, and fed very, very well!
This is my favorite restaurant near Carnegie Hall. The food is always delicious and beautifully plated. Service can sometimes be a bit slow because the restaurant is often full--but that's only because it's such a great place to go for a meal.
