Always a great place to dine. Was very disappointed with the shrimp scampi. Served with shrimp with heads and tails on, not deveined and with shells on. Also served over polenta instead of pasta. Had to send back. Manager handled it nicely though. Have been here many times and will definitely go back.
You will get the best dining experience here, welcoming and comfortable.
Trattoria dell'Arte was perfect for a birthday celebration. Our waiter Jean was excellent, attentive and friendly. The vegetable bar did not disappoint - all were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entree. The cannoli dessert was awesome. We'll be back!

Not your traditional Italian restaurant. Interesting food options. Everything was delicious especially the pizza. Very moderate prices for the city
Simply amazing. First, they ask how you want to sit. “Warm & cozy” or “Active” or etc. They sat us in a very “warm & cozy” atmosphere, private & secluded, as I requested, but there are other parts of the restaurant that is more lively. Server came right away, no wait. Drinks, apps, entree, and dessert - all no wait. Bus boy actively filled water, new utensils between each course, and server was friendly & professional. They do such a great job at Trattoria Dell'Arte. It's been around a long time and has a great Italian niche. The servers are so experienced, so engaging and deliver a hassle free experience. The appetizer bar is excellent although there has been portion shrinkage. The Italian wedding soup was outstanding as well as their chicken parm which is a pepperoni pizza with chicken serving as the crust. Drinks were all made well. Definitely a New York staple. You can't go wrong.

Always a Delight to dine here... from the Desk to the Table... the Service is attentive, informed, and gracious and never rushed ...the Menu is expansive and delivers what it says... terrific food beautifully presented.... its my "go to" place anytime i'm going to a concert at Carnegie or just hungry in the Neighborhood... 5***** aren't enough praise..
