We live in Charlotte, NC and eat at Trattoria Dell’Arte at least once during our visits to NYC. Great food and the cannolis are to die for, especially for a diabetic. 😉

I’m Italian, on holiday with my family in NY. Booked it online by chance as our hotel was walking distance. Excellent service ( thank you Manuel), wonderfully well cooked food - from the vegetable appetisers, to the 18 layer Lasagna to the aubergine parmigiana. Taste of homemade food! It’s not cheap but what is in NY….
Really fun restaurant with terrific food, excellent hospitality, and unique upbeat art and design. Nice to visit a place that is great without taking itself too seriously.

I don't know how noisy it is at its peak, but my party and I enjoyed a quiet early pre-theater dinner. The food was excellent, the pepperoni pizza is fabulous, and we were well taken care of!
