My wife and I haved used Trattoria as a "go to" place for ourselves as well as visitors to NYC for the last 7-8 years. We are always so pleased with the food, the service and the nice energy that the place always seems to have at dinner time. Thin crust pizza for the table plus antipasto to start. Both are always favorites. Entrees ordered included tuna, soft shell crabs, red snapper Livornese and cod. All the dishes were very good. My absolute favorite. The GM Brandon makes you feel like you're sitting down to a meal in his home. The best!

From the moment you step in the door you are welcomed personally and treated so very well. It was my first trip and I was meeting customers who had recommended the spot. I can see why. Good food, abundant portions and lovely service. I will definitely be back. Thanks !

Across from Carnegie Hall, Trattoria is where I always dine before concerts. Although it can become quite busy, they will get you out on time. Excellent italian menu with many choices, all authentic in preparation.

In most midtown restaurants, it is impossible to hear what one's dining companion has to say. Tratt has good, fresh food, a nice atmosphere, and a calmness required to have a good business conversation without distraction.

We have been going to this spot for many years. From the host to the servers, we have always had great service. The food (chicken parm) is fabulous.

On the recommendation of a friend, we went for a late supper after a show. It wasn't crowded at that hour. The service was pleasant and professional. The food was excellent. 3 of us had pasta and one had fish. all of which were delicious. The tagliolini al forno was especially good.

This friendly, lovely restaurant never disappoints. From the warm greeting to the delectable antipasto bar to the on the house flute of prosecco, this restaurant is the definition of understated elegance. It lacks pretension, but it delivers on high quality and well prepared food. The service is impeccable and the freshly baked cookies that are passed around are a delightful treat.
