Our group loved Trattoria Dell'Arte! We had a lovely welcome compete with complimentary champagne. They were most accommodating with respect to our seating preference. The service was outstanding and all of the food was delicious! Plus they got us in and out in time to make it to the theater. We would definitely go back and recommendation it to our friends.
Went for pre=theatre lunch on a Saturday in August. The place was noticeably not as crowded or noisy as I expected. Two small salads and splitting a pizza was perfect for the two of us. Desserts looked great, but we didn't have room. Ten-minute walk to our theater matinee. Would certainly go back.
First Class Service. Casual, but elegant and lively ambiance. Carbonara (with pancetta and a fried egg on top) is truly exceptional as is the Escalope Milanese. Can't wait to work through more of the menu on future visits to the City. Add great company and it's a perfect night.
The food no doubt was excellent but just wasn't worth the cost...I understand the location but $39 for 3 small veal scaloppini a la carte?
The welcome we get when we walk in the door is enough reason to go back -- everyone makes you feel as though you are someone. The food is excellent. Our server went out of his way, and in a polite way, to tell us that the selections we made might be too much food for just two. That alone is unusual. Very friendly and very professional.
Great food, service and ambiance. Desserts were large portions and delicious.
I took my nieces out to dinner and had a great time. The restaurant was busy, but not too noisy, and the service excellent. The food was very good. We all enjoyed our meals.
We always visit when we are in New York City and, often, more than once!
Superb service from arrival to departure. Expensive, but typically NYC in this area
