The food at Trattoria dell' Arte was a mixed bag. The fried artichoke appetizer was good but was served with the main meal and the chicken pepperoni parmesean was cold. The red snapper was delicious - perfectly cooked and covered with tasty chunks of tomato and olives. The server was also friendly and attentive although I'm not sure why the timing of the meal was flawed.
We had a great waiter for a group of 6. We were there for a special occasion so he joined right in. We loved the antipasto bar! Great menu. Would have loved more of a choice of seafoods.
Our very fav. Sure we could spend more or get fancier dishes from celebrity chefs but when our sophisticated out of town guests want great food we take them to Trattoria Dell'Arte and they love it every time. The Maître d' is professional without pretension. And, as the vegetarian in the group this restaurant treats me to extra special choices that make eating Italian more than a pasta dish. Unbelievable mozzarella. Chicken and Veal parm delicious.
Food was fantastic...we got the margarita pizza and an antipasta tray. Will definitely go back.
Attentive service, good food, helpful wait staff..good ambiance, perfect for lunch with new clients...
While food was very good, service was awful. Bus person brought water and bread then we waited over 20 min for waiter to take drink order. Then another long wait for him to take order. He never came back to see if we needed anything. And this just continued all night.
Service was great... my third time here.... and each time the service saved the night. The wine list was okay... the food fails to rise to the occasion of the service and the prices are at the top end... but it is a 'hang out' and each time I have been there it was active - not a quiet place. And wouldn't really call it Italian in comparison to so many authenic Italian around the area. Go there for a change but don't take your best girl or client.
We went to NYC on a girls trip and made sure to have dinner at Artè!! Ask for Brandon at front of the house and Chris as your waiter! Staff is fabulous!
