We went here for dinner prior to going to the ballet. We were greeted by 2-3 folks before being seated. The food was delicious, as was dessert. It's a very dynamic place. Will definitely keep this on the "go-to" list for visits to NYC.
As always, the service and food at Trattoria Dell'Arte are beyond compare. We had dinner following the theater and started with the eggplant caponata, which was excellent. My husband had the calves liver, which he said was delicious, and I had the veal parmigiana, which is the best I've ever had. Love the extensive wine list and the service is incredible.
Enjoyed the food, the service was prompt and the hostesses helpful and charming
It is a wonderful place to eat before the theater.......it is a short walk to the theater district from the restaurant
Excellent food that is interestingly presented, attentive and thoughtful service, fine dining at a very good value
It's a terrific restaurant near Central Park South and Carnegie Hall. Great food and service. Homemade mozzarella is one-of-a-kind. Spotted Kofi Annan in there during Sun brunch.
Had a very enjoyable meal. Concierge was very accommodating giving us a choice of rooms we would like to dine in.
The food was good. The waiter should gave told my guest that the veal chop that she ordered was big enough for THREE people. The tables were very close together and the restaurant was very noisy. The saving grace was that it was close to Carnegie Hall.
They always seem to exceed expectations from the service that is just right to the food that is always great, to a good and reasonably priced wine list, to the little surprise somewhere during the meal---like great chocolate with sea salt-- gratis. Have enjoyed the the total experience here 4 or 5 times this year and will go back.
