We always make our way to Trattoria Dell'Arte when we are in NYC. The absolute best Pizza!! Consistently Great food, fantastic service, and always a wonderful experience. We have never been disappointed! It's a must!!!
We have been going to Trattoria dell'Arte for many years. The service and quality have not changed one iota . . . they are fabulous. We sat at the antipasto bar. The guys behind the counter are always friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The food is always magnificent as is the wine.
The food is terrific. But this is a crowded, noisy place before the concerts across the street at Carnegie Hall begin.
This is a fun restaurant. Good food in an interesting ambience. Works as well for a romantic twosome as it does for a group outing. I've been there at least a dozen times and have been dissapointed.
Reliable Italian by Carnegie Hall. Main dining room gets really noisy, but upstairs is quieter! Beware! If you order shrimp the heads will still be attached.
Across from Carnegie Hall. Italian cusine. Carciofi alla Giudea (Artichokes Jewish style from Rome)are great. You can eat at the bar.
Wonderful dining experience with excellent well prepared Italian food in a casual atmosphere. The service was attentive but not obtrusive.
Arrived at 6:15 for our 6:15 reservation and were seated promptly. The waitress arrived soon after to take our drink orders and was present every time we needed something without hovering. They seem to handle the pre theater crowd as well as leisurely diners with equal attention. Antipasta bar was fabulous! We ordered four very different entrees and all were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Trattoria dell'Arte has every dish you've ever heard the best Italian TV chefs refer to. If you're a serious foodie interested in trying such rarities as BURRATA or RIBOLLITA, or a prime veal chop pounded paper thin to a diameter that is 18 inches around and served alla Parmigiana (yes, really!) then this place is for you. Just beware: food like this in a location this accessible (directly across the street from Carnegie Hall) doesn't come cheap. Many of their entrees are in the $30 - $50 price range, though serving sizes ar... read more
