We have several times taken groups of 8 or so here before a concert at Carnegie Hall. The food keeps getting better and better, and was truly outstanding this last visit. Be sure to tell your server you need to get out for a concert if you are, and don't bother with the coat check, which can become a bottleneck. We asked for a quiet table and were given a lovely table in a room off the main dining room. Absolutely perfect for our group and the one other that was in there.

Perfect before attending performances, has wide choice selection available to accommodate those wanting a light or substantial meal.
Good food and service and right across the street from Carnegie Hall make this restaurant a winner.
We had wonderful evening at this restaurant. Food (wedding soup, 101 layer lasagna, chicken parmigiana) was fantastic. Good wine at reasonable (for NY) prices. Service was excellent. Entire staff engaging. The chocolate covered Rice Krispie treats with coffee were to die for. The restaurant was very busy but all courses served timely and we were left alone at the end of the meal. We will be back.

Love this restaurant. Food always excellent. Great salads and fish and well everything is good. Service superb by waiters and front desk. Like the booths in the back. Great touch how they offer cookies and sweets to the guests as a gift. The Go-to restaurant in the area.
One of my favorite pasta places in the city. Relatively easy to get reservations, especially after the pre-concert hot times. Great location as well.
