Convenient to Carnegie Hall. A bit noisy but food great and service wonderful. A bit pricey but not out of line for the neighborhood. Wish they had early bird Pre fixe dinner for preconcert plans.
Trattoria Dell'Arte is The place to go to be gauranteed a great dining experience. The food is consistently good and the staff is simply the most attentive and gracious group in New York City!!
Wonderful food and service. Very knowledgeable staff. I would definitely go back.
This place is quite hectic and has a poor set-up for checking in with the hostess (creates a huge log jam). Even with a reservation there is usually a wait. I didn't even know until this visit that there was an upstairs! That said, the host gave us a glass of champagne for out wait which was a nice touch. The food and the service were fabuous. It's a pricey spot but worth it.
Always good, either pre-theatre (this time it was City Center). This time tried the filet mignon salad, in addition to the always delicious antipasto bar, and both were first-rate.
Love the buzz at this place. Very friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Wonderful bread and olive oil at the beginning. Delicious pastas. Only complaint was the celebrated veal parmesean was too salty. Warning: never order that for one person. It feeds four after the antipasti and a pasta course. Place is quite pricey but given the location (across from Carnegie Hall) and the popularity, you have to expect it.
good food. however, very loud and factory-like in certain ways. convenient and quick for Carnagie Hall. Don't go for leisurely or romantic meal, but good to go pre-theater
Excellent service, generous portions, and great italian flavors.
There where three of us all having different meals from fish to pasta. Everything was delicious. I would recommend to anyone. Straight forward well prepared food.
