The food was decent, service was great but in the restaurant is in desperate need of a make over.
Best antipasto bar this side of Italy!
Dinner was superb! The golden beet and asparagus salad was one of the best salads I've had. The tordelli bolognese was simply amazing.
I have been dining at Trattoria dell'Arte for over a decade and it never disappoints. The antipasto bar is a little slice of heaven -- go up and pick your own variety and don't forget the caponata. As an entree the tuna is amazing - and bring your appetite if you are going to order the veal parmigiana. The staff from the maitre d to the waiters and bus boys are friendly, funny and add a special dimension to the entire experience. One of my New York favorites.
Trattoria Dell'Arte is our favorite NYC restaurant. It was our very first restaurant on our first trip to NYC in 1999 and we will always return to this restaurant every time we make to NYC. The food is outstanding...the personable and special service is one of the best in town...the entree choices are excellentj and the waiters always give great advice to help. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!
Excellent food and service. A bit noisy, but the diners were enjoying themselves... I always enjoy dining here: menu has many choices and everything always cooked fresh and to order. I had the fish of the day (very good) and my dinner partner had the wonderful osso bucco. My favorite neighborhood restaurant!
Everything from the food to the service was exceptional. Our waiter Jason was attentive and charming. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.
My friends and I had a wonderful pre-theater restaurant experience. The service was phenomenal, really enjoyed our waitstaff especially after they accommodated 3 people at a 2 person table.
Overall, our dining experience was excellent. The food and service was great. I had the Ravioli with Eggplant and it was very tasty! The cannolis were also delicious. We would definitley go back again.
