It has gotten a little tired, and the pastas are way over the top in terms of price
Food was outstanding and the service was amiable and attentive. I would recommend to anyone who likes Italian food.

We were in from LA for a NY weekend!! A friend recommended Trattoria Dell Arte for after theatre and it was wonderful. The waiter was one of the best - the atmosphere spectacular, the food delish and the desserts were the best I've had anywhere! Would definitely recommend and return!
What keeps me from rating this restaurant higher are the prices. I understand it's expensive real estate, has no need to control cost-to-customer since there's a steady stream of Carnegie Hall patrons, and I'm paying in part for the convenience of a quick dash to my concert. But, $35 for a vegetable pizza is just beyond the pale, and feels like gouging.
Every aspect of our luncheon experience was superb, but the service is of special note. In our party of six, all of us would go back.
