My wife and our three children (ages 9, 12 & 14)had a wonderful dinner after seeing a Broadway show. Much to our surprise and delight, we obtained a table in their wine cellar. Food, service and atmoshphere were top notch. Perfect ending to a perfect day. We will definitely go back again and again.
This is the 2nd time we have been to New York, and the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant. We would not go back to New York without a visit to this restaurant!! The veal chop is enough to feed a family - outstanding! The white anchovies were extremely tasty. The cannolis were the best we have ever had. You must go!
It was a good choice. Food was good and the service was very good. I would eat there again. They a great antipasta bar.
It is rare for me at this age and experience to see new foods on a menu - and that is exactly what Trattoria Dell'Arte offered. I had a salad and appetizer that knocked me for 10. I would go back in a New York second to this restaurant and recommend it to anyone who adores food, particularly antipasti.
As residents of Boston, our dining out in new York is limited to our few ( 3 to 4 ) visits per year. We always try to eat at least one dinner on each visit at Trattoria Dell'Arte. It is a wonderful restaurant in a great location.
Granted the day was during the Christmas/New Years break, the food was average, the seating was not good as we were placed at the service entrance. Service was acceptable and rushed. Value was average.
We took our family to dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte during a recent visit to NY. The atmosphere is fun, the food was excellent, and the service truly outstanding. Highlights were the antipasto bar (including the house made mozzarella) and the tuna steak (which was excpetional). The watier and staff were very attentive and treated our kids well! The surroundings (including sculptures and drawings of various body parts) were very fun, albeit a bit noisy. All in all, we loved it!
Very friendly greetings by the owner. Great waiter. Food was delicious and the desserts terrific. Would definitely return for another meal.
We're from Chicago and were recommended we go here for great pizza. It was excellent. Crust very thin and crispy. Also tried the clams, artichokes and grilled calimari for antipasto as well as the special Lobster and risotto. We loved it all. Jason our waiter was terrific. We'll be back.
