This was my 1st home purchase. I know nothing about home purchases and mortgage loans. I placed my trust inKB Home Loans to take care of me my home loan needs. Troy failed. I only learned of rate lock when I expressed my concerns to my sales rep earlier this year. When I decided to make this purchase in 2021, 30 year fixed rates were just above 2%. I let Troy know that I did not want my home insurance in the house payment as it had been prepaid and would be prepaid every year. He said that would not be a problem but it was not taken out. He also would not redo the loan to reflect a higher downpayment.

Better communication, walk me through the whole process, do not change loan officers in the middle of a transaction! I will not recommend anyone to ever buy a house from KBHS! There are so many issues with my home that still have not been addressed and i still have not yet hear back from the lvcs@kbhome.com...

We have been waiting over two months to get issues fixed that should have been fixed prior to closing. Maybe not Troy’s fault, but I have a general disgust for all things KB at the moment.

Troy was very rude. I was planning to go with America First Credit union for my loan and he said KB will give me a better deal so I decided to go with KB in house lending. Then the day before my walk he texts me and says I probably will not be approved for my loan after he told me I was approved a few weeks before that. So after I ask what’s going on he starts cussing in the texts and being very rude. Horrible person to deal with. Worst experience ever!!!
