I can't say enough about the Truesdell animal hospital. Everyone seems to honestly love and dote on our 9 year old greyhound, Matt. They tell him how beautiful and wonderful he is, and make him feel safe, even though he tends to be a nervous guy. I completely trust them to care for him and treat him with care and thoroughness. They are extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this clinic without reservation.

Wonderful staff! Great place and can't say enough about how happy I am to have my dogs go here compared to other vets we have tried. All of the staff is friendly and professional and nice to talk to. I feel comfortable with my dogs care and will never take them anywhere else.

They've helped us care for our three Newfoundlands and two cats over the past 15 years, and we trust them with our family. Whether it's Doctor Heidi or Doctor Jackie -- or any of the vet techs -- they are friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Happy to recommend them to friends.

After spending over a year at other clinics trying to figure out what was wrong with our 1.5 year old Mastiff, one visit with Dr. Jackie Koepke resulted in finding out what was wrong and treating him. He's gained weight and we can tell he finally feels better! Although our dog has something considered to be relatively rare, Dr. Koepke worked with us on the plan to quickly get to the heart of the problem and resolve it. I'm writing this as I'm in an exam room waiting for test results. I do not have an easy cat to deal with. She's old, moody, and dislikes most everyone. I've never really had positive experiences with vets, per say. Some places try to muzzle her which makes her more scared, and others place a towel over her to hold her down, which she is very opposed to. The folks at Truesdell are amazing! They fawned all over our dog so much he must have thought he was being quite the ladies man that day!! Instead of it being a harrowing experience for everyone the staff made our old guy so comfortable that he was having a great time being there. In addition to that all the options and costs were explained up front, we were able to ask questions, and be a part of our dog's treatment plan. You can see how much these folks love animals but they do a very nice job with humans too!

I have been bringing my 90lb. bulldog for many years now and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and Dr. Heide is the absolute best. She is very patient with him and works well with large dogs especially mine that has struggled with many ear infections, skin issues, paw injuries etc. He is on a strict diet which has cleared up so many of his issues. The care here is the top and It took a few tries at different vet clinics in Madison to find Truesdell. I would recommend to anyone that loves their pets like family!

We are very picky about who we trust with our furry friends. Truesdell has been our vet of choice for 10 years.
