Uintah Pet Emergency is one of three emergency pet hospitals in Southern Colorado that are part of a family of hospitals. Conveniently located in the heart of Colorado Springs, we are the resource you can count on when one of your animals needs medical attention outside your primary care veterinarian’s normal office hours. All of our emergency vet clinics work closely together. In fact, we can transport your pet to Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty for 24-hour hospitalization if more intensive care is required. No one wants to find themselves in the emergency room with the pet they love. This review is for both Powers and their sister location, Uintah. About 5 weeks ago my 8yr old corgi went down in his hind limbs. I rushed him to Uintah Pet Emergency where he received amazing care and was unofficially diagnosed with IVDD. He got radiographs and lots of meds. He was on the road to recovery with his meds and orthopedic rehab but he started declining rapidly all of a sudden. After a few other non emergency vet visits I made an appoi... read more
Absolutely! Our sweet Penelope, our 5 1/2 yo Devon Rex was cared for my Dr. Dixon and her wonderful staff. We were ultimately referred to an overnight pet hospital off of Tutt where we put our sweet little one to sleep. We came in at 8pm, on an emergency basis and received nothing but the utmost of care! Thank you so very much and God Bless each one of you....
Business response:
Thank you so much for the kind recommendation and for entrusting us to the care of your precious pet. Our deepest condolences for the loss of sweet Penelope- she was an absolutely lovely kitty with such a gentle spirit and our entire staff could tell how much you cared for her ❤️
Absolutely amazing and extremely affordable. My dog had an ear infection and they made sure she was taken care of and didn’t get mad when she would snap either. They gave us suggestions and medicine and it was an amazing experience.
Business response:
Thanks for the great review! We understand that some of our patients need a little extra care and will go slow to make their experience at our clinic a positive one. Usually the "snappy" dogs are really painful or scared (or both!), and we keep this in mind when we are working with them. I'm so glad both you and your pup were happy with our team!
This place is amazing! We came afterhours for a cat UTI and were seen very quickly. my cat was tested and given meds and we went home quickly. All three staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The bill was not as high as I figured for an emergency exam either. I will be going here for all emergency needs!!!
Professional, Caring, and thorough! Doctor Young and staff were Great. They treated Baxter with gentle care and were considerate of his age and special circumstances. It was very comforting to know he was in good hands 🙏♥️
always caring, cam professional, love this Clinic
I have had to use Uintah Pet Emergency three times in 2.5 years. This last time, my dog had torn up her foot pads. Dr. Dixon was working and took care of my dog. She needed her foot pad skin trimmed and was bandaged up on three legs for three days to heal. I felt like I got terrific service and at a fair price. My dog is doing much better. With my three different visits to this facility, I have had three different docs over the years. Each vet that has taken care of my dog has been wonderful. I highly recommend this place.
Very professional & caring!
Excellent staff. Thank you
