I really like this place and the people, and I'd give the staff four stars. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. My one serious complaint is the way some of the food is being cooked. The kitchen seems to be relying on chicken and burgers continuing to "cook" while sitting in the hot food bar. Keeping food warm is not the same as properly cooking it in the first place. If you're looking for top-tier food quality, Uncle Giuseppe's is the absolute way to go. The North Babylon location is fantastic. I always stock up on their meat and fresh produce, but the absolute highlight is their chicken cutlets--they pound them nicely thin so they crisp up perfectly. Go on a Sunday! They actually have a live Italian singer performing throughout the store while you shop. It's hilarious, entertaining, and makes grocery shopping feel like an event. Highly recommend!

An excellent supermarket, with a great selection of fresh pasta, cheeses, sauces, and more! There were plenty of samples available as well - from ravioli in Alfredo sauce to fresh mozzarella to cheese paired with crackers and jam. The staff was incredibly friendly, checkout had tons of lanes open, and the store is in immaculate condition. The pizza looked like it had been sitting in the showcase for a while so we stayed away from that on this visit, but otherwise a 10/10 experience.

I highly recommend Uncle Giuseppe's in Ramsey for catering! We recently ordered food for a party, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and they even included so many unexpected extras, which was such a nice surprise. Outstanding customer service. Yesterday my 90‑year‑old mom accidentally placed an online pickup order, thinking it was delivery. She's been to the hospital twice in the last three weeks and wasn't able to drive, especially with the store close to closing. I spoke with a staff member and then the manager, explained the situation, and they immediately stepped up.
