Incredible shopping experience!!! Puts Wegmans to shame! Clean, food is fresh and you can purchase your entire dinner, or dessert or both!
This was my first trip to Uncle G's and I will be going back many many times!! The selection of food is amazing! The quality is amazingly delicious! But what made my visit today was the AMAZING CASHIER, MARIANGELA!!! I honestly cannot say enough about Mariangela -- and honestly, I do not know her! I only met her earlier today! This is the last place many people would normally get their pizza but I'm on my quest for the best pizza on Long Island and I knew that this Uncle Giuseppe's had a pizzeria inside. First the pizza, was very good , an 8.1 on barstool rating which is unreal considering this is a supermarket. I've shopped here before and all the food prepared here is amazing. Now to top it off I went on a Sunday on June 11, 2023 and you have a live singer. I've been here before but this was the best singer yet so your ambiance scale is a 9.9.

The food is good. I did not say great. The ambiance is nice but its all about money. Prices here are high. You may find an occasional good deal but I think the cost of the prepared food is way too much for what you get. The cafe has mediocre coffee. The bakery is pushing 2 to 3 times the cost of the same items in Italy where the size of is greater and the ingredients fresher. Yet people rave. The bakery is good at best. The only item reasonably priced is the sfogliatella which is double the price in Italy for the same size... read more

I was in the Tinton Falls location and I had the pleasure of speaking with my cashier named Justin R .. he was the nicest cashier I've ever met .. he was telling me about his grandmother in Italy and how they prepared cannoli crème ! He was extremely knowledgeable on everything in the store and for such a young man he was so respectful and kind .. he deserves much praise !
