So, we are traveling with our sweet pup, and of course she gets sick. For the better part of a week the poor girl has stomach issues. I'm getting worried. 2,500 miles from home. I have been taking my cats here for many years and everyone there treats them with such love and care. Dr. Wiechmann is our usual vet, but everyone there is amazing. I used to live much closer to the clinic, but when I moved, I refused to find a new vet clinic as I already had the best. It's worth driving a little longer for the level of care my cats have received for so long.
We recently moved to the area and it's been a struggle trying to find a vet that would accommodate us or even answer my phone call so I was so relieved that Valley was able to get us in. The facility is clean and smells wonderful and everyone seemed to have a happy and calm demeanor. I've had issues with being judged for how anxious my dog is but Dr. Karli and the techs took such good care of her. Price was super affordable for everything I had done and am thrilled to have found a vet we feel safe with and can return to!
My veterinarian retired and I have been searching for a place that had kind and gentle staff. A friend of mine recommended Valley Animal. I am pleased and will continue to bring my sweet dog here. They offered a first time discount as well as an online service where I could purchase my dogs flea and heart worm meds at a great price. Great location in Geneva .
We have taken both of our dogs here!! Our first one basically from puppy-age to when we had to put her down, and our new dog for the past 6 months-ish. Every experience we have had has been excellent!! Staff are really kind, accommodating, and generally helpful. Making an appointment is relatively easy and they have handled COVID wonderfully. I can't recommend this place enough.
We moved to the area recently and took our corgi there for a check-up and to get his nails trimmed from time to time. They have been excellent in keeping him calm and getting the trim done quickly. This is not a review of their nail trimming abilities. This is a review of their all-encompassing compassion and fantastic customer service abilities in one of the worst times of my life in recent memory. Love Dr Christakos so much. She is compassionate, understanding, and never makes you feel guilty for asking hard questions. She gives every option available when treatment is needed and keeps the pet's best interest in mind while also being conscious of cost and the pet's age. I have owned cats and dogs my whole life and she is the best vet I've ever had. The rest of the staff at Valley is also exceptional and I've never had a bad experience. Worth the drive!! Dr. Christakos is so compassionate! We had just moved to the Aurora/Naperville area from the East Coast in 2018 with a cat who had terminal cancer. My friend who used to live in Geneva raved and raved about how amazing Valley Amimal Hospital was, and her family that still lived there continued to use them. Valley Animal Hospital is flawless! I wish they offered services for humans, because I would drop my doctor in a heartbeat to go to them haha :) We brought our new puppy here back in November and have had multiple appointments since then for vaccines and routine exams.
