11/15/The animal hospital is very nice clean and fancy. Of course some needs to pay for all this beautiful renovations. We made an appointment to see my pet and I have to wait over an 2.5 hours to see the veterinarian. The hospital will charge you if you run late .... how about when they are running late. I remember when they used to be at the old location better, more friendly service and no need all the over head expenses. Maybe the service is good for others but I won't recommend this animal hospital. Sad but true I ne... read more

Business response:

Thank you for the praise of our facility, which was built to provide better service and efficiency for our clients and patients. Our prices are fair given costs and are lower than comparable practices even in the same geographic area. We're sorry that you had to wait so long. A 2.5 hour wait time is a rare thing so there must have been very serious cases needing attention that day. It sounds like you found a veterinarian who you prefer, and that's OK. We wish you the best and will continue to provide the best care to... read more

Very disappointed. I have been taking my dog Mayhem there since I got him. Mayhem is 3 years old every year I take him in for a physical and update his vaccines. I was given an estimate in September for a dental cleaning in February with a discount. My spouse took Mayhem in and the price changed. The man checking him in advised him the price went up. I called and was advised due to his age 3 he needs a blood test prior to the dental procedure. When I went to pick up Mayhem I advised the receptionist what happened. She said t... read more

Business response:

We do apologize for the confusion regarding your estimate. Once this was brought to the attention of management, which should have been the case from the start, we apologized and issued a refund. We apologize for the inconvenience and stress that this caused you.

This office just really isn't the same, my mother has been with this office for over 30 years.. she brought her cat in to be euthanized.. none of the staff is friendly or compassionate anymore it seems. Seems like all this office cares about is money and getting you in then out. Also the office fee has now gone up to $75 which is absolutely ridiculous. Just really wish you guys could show more compassion and not come off as such a cold and unloving environment.

Business response:

This comment is very concerning to me, as myself and my staff have dedicated our professional lives not only to giving the best service to our patients but also to having our clients be comfortable with us and trust us. Especially when it comes to end of life, we do try to be very understanding and treat our clients and patients with the utmost care. We are very sorry that your mother went through this loss and and it really saddens me that that she did not feel that we were caring. I really do apologize for that. O... read more

I had our first visit on March 10 for our kitten. She received what was called her kitten vaccination. The next day she started to get a bumps on her neck that scabbed and feel off leaving her bald in the area. Had an appointment on the 31st for additional vaccines and the technician said that the doctor could look at her neck when she gets spayed it on Friday. She said that she would put it in her chart. She went today to be spaded and when I picked her up I asked the technician about her neck he was very rude told me he k... read more

Business response:

Hello, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our communication regarding your cat. When she came to be spayed, she was fully examined, and the doctor assessed the hair loss, including a microscopic exam of the hair to check for ringworm, at no charge. Nothing requiring treatment was found. The problem seems to be how this was communicated. It sounds like the staff member did answer your question but it sounds like the doctor would have been the better one to speak to since you wanted more details. . Pleas... read more

Got a new puppy and went in for a wellness physical 2 weeks ago and told Vet my puppy was starting to get diarrhea. We agreed for them to test him there and was told he needs medication for parasites. He went in for 3rd set of shots and still had diarrhea. I called first thing today, Monday morning to have vet call me back bc I'm concerned that he continues to get diarrhea. Not sure if antibiotics are too strong, 100 whatifs running through my head for my poor puppy. I get a call back right before closing by front desk staff... read more

I am so dissatisfied and frustrated with a doctor here named dr. Buckley. I wish I would have took my aunts advice that recommend me to see Dr. DuPrez. This doctor removed a mass on my Queensland healer. She also had what looked like a interdigital cyst on her paw, I mentioned my opinion of it to her and the doctor swore it was not one she was concerned it was something else and highly suggested surgery and biopsy on it. No later than one week later after bringing my baby in the mass on her leg ruptured and the mass was now ... read more

A friend of mine had to drop my cat off with severe diarrhea and ear mites as I was out of town. I came to pick up 3 days later, and my cat still had ear mites and was returned to me in a diarrhea covered carrier with diarrhea all over his paws. So unprofessional. I'm not sure what my bill covered but my cat was in no better condition than when he was dropped off.

Business response:

The description of your experience is an absolute shock to us, and the situation does not sound familiar to us either. A complaint was never received, or we would have rectified this for you. The owner would be happy to discuss the details and would like to understand what happened, since this is not our standard. Please call Dr. DuPrez at 909-877-2384.

Two weeks ago I went through the complicated process to get the documents needed so our puppy could accompany us on our family vacation. Well after paying for the all the fees, tickets, "doggy passport", and then driving the two hours to the airport the airline notifies us that VALLEY ANIMAL HOSPITAL offices put the wrong date on the documents, as well as the wrong home address AND the wrong destination address. Yes humans commit error but these are three separate errors and the date signed is CRUCIAL since you can only trav... read more

3 turn downs in my first visit -they changed the customer service when some suggested recommendations were declined (Didn't give medication to my pet when usually that's given at the site) -they tried to charge me twice for another medication -they forgot to put in the bag the medication I had already paid for and noticed until I was already home .. had to drive back again
