Dr Reed is amazing, although she works for a clinic that charges fees arbitrarily that are not up for discussion. If you have a problem, they don't care.
If I could give a 0 I would. On January 2, 2025, we brought our sweet maltipoo, Gigi to Valley Animal Hospital to be spayed. She was only 15 months old. Tragically not even 30 minutes after we dropped her off, I received a phone call from Dr. Bower that Gigi's heart had stopped, and they were performing CPR. My dog had an appointment to cut her nails. I went to the reception area, to check in.. I waited for awhile, they were 3 women in the reception area, I'm still waiting to acknowledge me, they were all busy, but they won't stop to say "Mam we will be with you shortly " I am disabled person, and I can't stand for a long time, when I said , Aren't you going to say , Mam we will be with you shortly, I was upset already. Had my pet suffering for hours with no pain medicine and didn't give me his paw print and nose print and when I called back they said it would be in the mail but I didn't receive ANYTHING!!

You may have seen Lilly L. She left a review a few months back and I didn't review earlier but after searching for a vet I got reminded of this situation and wanted others to be aware, I was with her with our dogs appointment and overall a good staff except for Miguel. When your dog is getting surgery you would like a welcoming staff and to be reassured you leave your dog in a safe environment. I can finally write this review. My pup passed away about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure what to do. I assumed the city had some kind of procedure in place to handle deceased dogs. Well I was wrong. I was told to call the vet. I called this vet since this was the last place my dog was seen to get information on what to do. They didn't help either. Helli A.B., Losing a pet suddenly is awful, especially one so young. There is only one service I know of that will transport deceased animals, the Animal Ambulance of Southern California. There is a charge for this but it is available. There is that resource, which I hope you'll never have to use in the future. Only businesses doing home visits that are licensed and insured for transport can do this. I hesitated writing a review but if in doing so I save 1 dog it will be worth it. I have decades of experiences with V.A.H. but in keeping this post as short as possible I will only address the most recent and the worse experience with my German Shepherd, Shiloh. Very disappointed. If ur dogs bark don't bring them here. I booked 2 months in advanced verified what shots were needed. My dogs were up to date and one of my dogs was agitated bc I had put him a small cage n he barked. Once he barked they made excuses of how my other dog was not up to date n couldn't be boarded. Also that bc my dog barked he was being aggressive and he could also not be boarded. My dogs are small pomeranians less than 10 pounds. HORRIBLE... Carmelo, Bean n Bruno all give 0 stars....
I've came here a few times because it's local to me but every time I come I regret it. They had me waiting for an hour with appointment while taking everyone else before me and when I finally spoke up about why are they letting everyone that got there after me, go in before me they tell me one of their receptionist made a mistake and did not check me in.
