My experience with Vandergriff Hyundai was amazing! I saw a car that I was interested in on the internet, and contacted the best and most knowledgeable Sales person I could have ever imagined. I walked into this dealership today with an appointment to see Maletta Larry, but I was very afraid and nervous. I had never in my life purchased a car on my own. I recently just lost the vehicle I had owned for the past 6 or so years in a car accident and being divorced for just over a year, I wasn't ready for this huge step into the unknown on my own. Maletta made our day when she sold us our Hyundai Sante Fe. She was the friendliest car saleswoman we have ever had. She was anxious to make us happy and set us up. We will refer friends to this dealership and to Malletta also. I LOVE MY NEW Santa Fe. It was great to drive and easier to function than its counterpart the Ford Explorer.
I came in looking for a specific Tuscon found online. When I arrived (late), the car was driving off the lot. Initially, I was frustrated because the floor team was attempting to put me in a car above my price range that I did not like nearly as much. Angela Cook was awesome. Down to earth and real from start to finish - no gimmicky salesmanship. At each step of the process, she gave me a clear understanding of what to expect. Chris Ortiz, the general sales manager, was also helpful and friendly. Thomas Carter, in Finance, finished the process off in great fashion as well. Overall, great customer service, good prices, great vehicle. I will not hesitate to send friends and family to Angela & company at Vandergriff Hyundai.
Richard was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to show both cars we were interested in. He described every feature of each in an excited manner. It was apparent that he believed in what he was selling. He was easy to talk to and was not at all pushy. He made shopping for and buying a car a fun and easy experience. I would recommend him to everyone.
I will be honest. The original review was very negative and much deserved. HOWEVER, this dealership has worked very hard to earn my business and my trust back. Still not perfect, but definitely displayed integrity and willingness to make things right. Special KUDOS to Jann Webb (Customer Service Manager) for advocating on my behalf and to Ken Mauldin (Service Manager) for really stepping up to help us when we were "stranded" in another state and having difficulty getting things worked out with the local dealership there. I have gone back to their Facebook page and found that my most recent post about "I don't know what's more disturbing..." was not actually deleted, but now it only appears when Iiltered by "posts by others". My original post as well as at least 3 others that were posted since then are still missing, so I can only assume they have been deleted, although if you filter by "posts by others" rather than "highlights", there are two negative posts (by one person) that remain on their page.
