The staff are very caring and helpful. There are lots of activities if you want to participate. The building is a light and bright structure and is kept very clean. The pool is enjoyed from the atrium on one side of the dining room. My apartment is a lovely one bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, spacious place. It is almost twice as large as my 400 sq ft park model I was living in before I chose to move to Verena. The residents are year round and not snowbirds leaving in the Spring. Staff are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, compassionate. Food is very good and plentiful. A little noisy with traffic but can't be helped if we want to be near services. Cost is less than others we looked at for same services.
