The staff is more than staff, they are family. The care that they gave my folks was kind, loving, and caring always! The folks were always warmly welcomed everyday, and checked on if they hadn't been seen in awhile. The apartment was big and bright and meet the needs of my folks. There are so many activities that they could be part of to keep them busy. I would give Verena of Gilbert the true seal of approval. Blessings

This community is absolutely amazing. My mom moved in a few months back and we can't believe how busy she is now with everything on the Social Calendar. Our families favorite time to visit is for Thursday Happy Hour's. They typically have an entertainer, serve drinks, and dance. I cannot believe how lively this community gets during that time. You do not want to miss out on all the fun.

Verena at Gilbert is not like any other retirement community I have toured. It is resort managed and it shows through and through from the delicious food to the abundance of activities offered. The beach entry to the pool is the perfect touch. It’s just like being at a resort. The people were friendly and kind. I am looking forward to making Verena at Gilbert my home.

The staff is outstanding. Friendly, professional, caring - all are interested in the residents' welfare. Cleanliness needs attention: Dirty windows and carpeting are a concern. Rules are not always implemented, such as dogs wandering without leashes, walkers being stored in public hallways the the dining room causing safety hazards.

Verena at Gilbert is a very warm and welcoming community. The residents are very active and engaged in all the wonderful activities offered. The pool is like being at a resort and there is a gas grill available for the residents and their families.

Anyone that is interested in a good, secure and nice living conditions will find it here at Verena. The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. There are a great deal of interesting things to do. Also the facility is pet friendly.

My wife and I lived in two other communities before we found Verena at Gilbert. The first two had great expectations but we never saw them. We have lived in Verena for two years now and are still very happy here. Management is open to change to make it better and are both friendly and honest. Maintenance is prompt to fix any problem that may occur with the facility. The Common Areas are kept clean and the Food is great. Activities abound and if you are bored, it's your decision to be. All the employees and residents have been very friendly and helpful. Coming from my own home I'm first getting accustomed to apartment living. I really don't like most of the food. The apartment are very generous in size. My dog is not happy here. As soon as I walk out of the apartment she keeps barking. Just hope she does not disturb other residents.
